Westfield – part 1

Westfield

It is time to start a new project in Cites: Skylines. The map I use is Two Rivers. The base of this city is a square grid. Each block becomes 3×3 units and gets an internal access structure. See the example below. With this set-up,
the number of crossings remains low without inefficient use of space.
At the same time there are no short lanes between the crossings, which is good for the traffic flow: a lot of traffic can continue when the traffic light turns green. To be continued.

Hometown

Great aerial view of my old neighborhood in Barneveld, the Netherlands. This photo is 8 years older than I am. It was made in 1975 and re-published in the Barneveldse Krant (a local newspaper) on January 12, 2018. I lived somewhere in the lower right corner.
